Headquartered in New York, NY, WayUp is the largest online marketplace for college students to find internships, part-time, and full-time work.

The company’s mission is to democratize access to traditional on-campus recruiting services, historically only available to a privileged few. Students on WayUp fill out a single common application, and only see opportunities that they are qualified for. Employers only pay when they receive candidates that meet their qualifications. What started as a side-project between college friends from the University of Pennsylvania, Liz Wessel & JJ Fliegelman, has grown to a network of over 2,500 universities and hundreds of thousands of students – growing by 10,000 students per week. The over 5,000 employers on WayUp range from Fortune 500 companies looking for on-campus brand reps to local businesses looking for hourly workers to leading technology companies looking for software engineers. One in three students who applied for a job through WayUp last semester got an offer for at least one of the jobs that they applied to.
