John Kelley

CEO, CoachUp

John Kelley is the CEO at CoachUp.

He is a results-oriented leader with 30 years of marketing, business development and general management success in a range of organizations, including Fortune 50, start-up and fast-growth environments, on both the client and service sides of the business. Prior to CoachUp, John was CMO at The Princeton Review, where he helped deliver significant revenue and earnings growth, culminating in the sale of the privately held company to IAC in August, 2014. Previously, John was SVP of Marketing at Monster.com and worked in a number of mobile and marketing startups, including Imagitas, a marketing services company acquired by Pitney Bowes for $230M in 2005. John’s spent the early part of his career in brand management and marketing with industry leaders Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, as well as with NCI consumer advertising (acquired by Publicis in 2000).

John graduated from Harvard College magna cum laude in Russian and Soviet Studies. He is an active supporter for JDRF and participates in annual fundraising rides to help raise money to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
