Ping Identity, the Cloud identity security leader, today announced that it has joined the RSA Secured® Partner Program and certified interoperability between PingFederate® and the RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication solution from RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC). This interoperability partnership and certification creates a solution that provides stronger access controls to Cloud applications, helping to increase security for joint customers.

AAPT, Australia’s third-largest telecommunications company, has decided to migrate its 1,200 employees to ‘Google (News - Alert) Apps using Ping Identity.  Ping Identity helps companies address Internet Identity Security requirements for Google Apps deployments and is the only vendor to provide standards-based SSO support for Google Apps, Google Search Appliance and Google Security Compliance.

AAPT this week extended its move into Google Apps cloud services, deploying Gmail, contacts and calendar systems across its 1,200-strong workforce. Eight months after the telco began a two-phased project to “go Google,” AAPT is declaring the project an overwhelming success. Leveraging automated user account management and Internet Single Sign-On capabilities from Ping Identity’s Cloud-based PingConnect, Australia’s third largest telco reports the project will have paid for itself by September.

Ping Identity today announced general availability of its PingFederate® SaaS Connector for Cisco WebEx. The fourth in a series of SaaS Connectors, the WebEx SaaS Connector works with PingFederate to provide quick connection and provisioning capabilities for WebEx Meeting Center.
