Press for rPath

rPath, the application engine provider for the private cloud, today announces that it has expanded its operations with the opening of a Northeast office in Waltham, Mass. and by naming 20-year software industry veteran, Doug May, as its newly appointed vice president of worldwide sales. In this capacity, May will help drive the company’s global sales efforts for its rPath Cloud Engine, new software that allows cloud technology vendors and managed service providers (MSPs) to deliver critical applications with consistency, reliability and speed.

Raleigh business software company rPath has hired a new top sales executive and is looking to hire 10 new employees at its Raleigh headquarters thanks to expanding revenue.
The privately held company doesn't disclose sales results, but CEO Mike Torto said fourth-quarter revenue is double that of a year ago, thanks in part to the growing popularity of cloud computing.  Cloud computing enables companies to access networks of computers over the Internet.

rPath, the application engine provider for the private cloud, today announces that chief technology officer, Brett Adam, will be speaking at both Cloud Expo West, November 7-10, in Santa Clara, Calif., and the Cloud Channel Summit, November 7, in Mountain View, Calif. At each session, Adam will offer insights on how managed services providers (MSPs) and cloud stack vendors can differentiate their offering by delivering application clouds that give enterprises a way to manage applications in the cloud with consistency, reliability and speed.

rPath, the application engine provider for the private cloud, today announces two live webinars with Cisco that will present strategies for sending applications to the cloud consistently, reliably and fast using a Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud software stack integrated with rPath Cloud Engine technology. Attendees will learn how to create application clouds using Cisco’s self-service portal and orchestration engine, combined with embedded application management software from rPath. The webinars will be held on November 1 and 2.
