Jumptap, the leader in targeted mobile advertising, today announced results from the first “State of Mobile Advertising” survey developed in conjunction with DM2 Media, publisher of leading advertising blog DIGIDAY: Daily. Jumptap CMO, Paran Johar, presented the findings during a keynote session at the DIGIDAY: Mobile conference in Los Angeles.

Jumptap, the leader in targeted mobile advertising, today announced that it has added four new patents issued by the United States Patent Office.  The company now has a portfolio of 10 issued patents relating to targeting and user interactions on mobile devices.

Big companies devote much less of their ad budgets to mobile phones than to reaching online PC users, but George Bell is among those who want to change that.

Google gobbled up Admob and Apple ate Quattro, and now there are only a few independent mobile ad networks with any measure of technology or scale. Jumptap is one of them, though the company previously received investment from ad industry behemoth WPP.
