Press for Bullhorn
Recruiting software provider Bullhorn, Inc. today reported strong results for 2011. New bookings and revenue for the company’s applicant tracking and CRM platform grew 40% over 2010, while over 35,000 recruiters chose Bullhorn Reach for social recruiting since its February launch, one of the fastest-spreading applications in the industry’s history.
As early as 2008, Bullhorn Inc., a fast growing Boston-based provider of front-office staffing and recruiting management software, was considering the cloud to help streamline development and distribution of its Software as a Service (SaaS) products to over 2,500 customers and 25,000 users in 35 countries.
But Bullhorn's early embrace of Platform as a Service (PaaS) had more to do with long-standing relationships than with new-fangled cloud technologies.
Fourteen years ago, Art Papas left a job at a startup to take one as a software architect at a financial services giant where he quickly realized the fit was all wrong.
Bullhorn, which develops a recruitment software and applicant tracking system, is releasing a new Social Recruiting Activity Report, which examines the usage of social media in executive and job recruiting. Bullhorn found that LinkedIn leads among the frequency of usage by recruiters and their effectiveness for sourcing candidates, followed by Twitter, with Facebook coming in third.
