Press for Flite

Today, cloud-based advertising platform Flite announced the launch of Flite for Ad Networks, a line of products designed exclusively for networks to differentiate their offerings while providing incredible brand recall for their advertisers. The lineup of products includes Socializer Plus, Display Plus, and Display Plus Overlay; with each product designed to help networks quickly build and deliver dynamic units tailored to each advertiser's needs by combining real-time content from across the web.

Today, cloud-based advertising company Flite announced its first two Cloud Ad units, Lift Off (launching today) and Brand Pilot (coming soon), allowing brands to serve ads with constantly updated, real-time content that leverages social networks, APIs, third party reviews, location data and more. Coming on the heels of the launch of its cloud advertising platform in March, Flite's Cloud Ad units make it possible to easily create, serve, and measure ads that are as dynamic as the best websites and deliver superior performance over traditional display campaigns.

Flite will be featured at the IAB Roadshow on April 6, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois. The IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) Roadshow is a six-city series of events that exclusively feature case studies that marketers, advertisers and publishers can learn from to develop groundbreaking cross-platform interactive campaigns.

Today, Web-based advertising platform Flite (formerly Widgetbox) announced a $12 Million Series C round of financing led by General Catalyst Partners, with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital, Hummer Winblad and NCD Investors. Flite, which also today announced its name change [Editor's Note: please see "Widgetbox Takes Flite!"], provides a cloud-based advertising platform that allows marketers to create interactive ads that leverage real-time Web content, resulting in consumer engagement of more than ten times the industry standard for traditional online display ads.
