Press for Bigcommerce
BigCommerce, a company that provides e-commerce software to online retailers and merchants, is announcing a major milestone today. The SaaS powers over 20,000 online stores for retailers who have processed over $350 million in total sales.
If you are interested in creating a site where you are going to be able to sell goods online then you will certainly want to check out Big Commerce. There were a lot of benefits to this site builder that made me really interested in giving it a shot. You will be able to see a few of these benefits on the following screen shot.
BigCommerce has opened its platform to global developers via the new RESTful API, as it aims to build the world’s first e-commerce platform.
Third-party developers will now have total access to the BigCommerce platform via the API, making orders, customers, photos and products available for retrieval and update programatically.
Another f-commerce solution has entered the market in an attempt to help retailers turn their Facebook pages into online stores.
BigCommerce is today releasing Social Shop 2, which will allow Facebook fans to browse products, fill their cart, purchase, manage orders, redeem gift certificates, write product reviews and more.
