Press for Brightcove

MedTouch, the leading provider of web strategy and online solutions for healthcare, has partnered with Brightcove (http://www.brightcove.com ), the cloud content services company, to offer online video solutions for healthcare organizations and enable these organizations to gain deeper insight into the performance of their video content.

Online video services firm Brightcove Inc. plans to move to the South Boston waterfront from Cambridge next April, according to a report in the Boston Globe.

Brightcove is no longer just for videos. Starting today, it is launching an entire new product line for making mobile and web apps called Brightcove App Cloud. Developers will be able to use App Cloud to create their apps once and then deploy them to the iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and beyond. It creates HTML5 apps as well as mobile touch websites, and it is not limited to video apps.

Online video platform Brightcove has struck a deal with video syndication firm 5min Media to make its premium video content available to sites that use Brightcove's technology.
