Client Solutions & Services
My journey to General Catalyst was, in a literal sense, academic. After graduating, I taught history at the secondary level for a couple of years. What I loved most about teaching was the opportunity to engage with students daily, building rapport in the classroom, and fostering student engagement through the learning process. I admired their insatiable curiosities and desire to take their learnings from our lessons and channel them to help shape the future.
When I first met the team at GC, what drew me in was the mission, values, and energy of the firm. Although it was initially hard to imagine leaving the classroom, in many ways I embraced a learning mindset and was eager and energized to build my career with GC.
Fast forward to today, I’ve now spent nearly a decade with the firm in a number of roles, first across the administrative, finance, and operations functions, before ultimately choosing Client Solutions & Services, a role I’ve now had for the majority of my GC career.
My focus today is to ensure that all the needs of our limited partners are met with transparency, consistency, and the level of engagement we at GC know they deserve.
As someone who thrives on understanding the needs of and communicating with investors, I seek to cultivate meaningful, longstanding relationships, built off of transparency and trust. GC’s values, particularly Depth of Relationship, is a guiding principle in my career.
In my spare time I can be found down the Cape with my family, connecting with friends, or attending a group fitness class. I am a longtime resident of Boston and enjoy exploring the city in search of the best food and beverage in town. In fact, I enjoy doing that in any city I’m in, as traveling is a major passion as well!
