I was inspired to study and practice law by my mother, an attorney who owns and operates her own law practice. Yet, I had a strong inclination towards business and entrepreneurship so was always looking for an opportunity to combine those interests.

After a great learning experience within WilmerHale’s corporate and securities practice, I continued my career at Gunderson Dettmer, where venture investing and emerging companies are the focus. It was during my time at Gunderson Dettmer that my passion for entrepreneurship and venture capital really blossomed. I’ll never forget the first time I had access to investment memos and could step into the minds of seasoned investors to understand how they valued and analyzed private companies. I quickly realized I was destined for a career at the intersection of law and venture capital.

I’m thrilled to join General Catalyst where I have the opportunity to work with our incredible team and impressive entrepreneurs to leverage my experience to streamline processes and reduce some of the legal friction around company fundraising and growth.

On the personal side, I enjoy spending time with my wife and young son. We spend our time traveling, exploring New England and enjoying our neighborhood in Charlestown. On the side, I’m learning yet another new industry by volunteering on the board of a local preschool and continue to patiently wait for the Buffalo Bills to win a Super Bowl.
