Drew Gordon began serving sophisticated investors from the start of his career. At Morgan Stanley, he gained domain expertise in the global financial and real estate sectors while developing and articulating both long-term strategies and market-driven tactics for high-net-worth investors.
Drew then entered the fund placement industry with Campbell Lutyens, a global placement agent, where he advised leading private equity and venture capital financial sponsors on their institutional fundraising and capital formation initiatives. Through his experience with Campbell Lutyens, Drew learned to appreciate the importance of developing and managing an efficient capital-raising process while serving the complex needs of limited partners. His work caught the eye of General Catalyst, which brought Drew on board to join its Client Solutions & Services team.
He values the firm’s team-oriented, collaborative approach where he can draw on his full range of prior experiences to help carry forward General Catalyst's mission of investing in powerful, positive change that endures. He is excited to be on a team that raises capital with a purpose that extends beyond profit, and seeks to form enduring relationships with limited partners who share in that vision.
Outside the office, Drew is an avid sports fan and loves to get outdoors. He played varsity lacrosse at Middlebury College and still plays on occasion - but has also picked up running, cycling, and pickleball to stay active.
