Josette Beran leads strategy and execution at Health Assurance Transformation Company, a new business with the mission to deliver health and wellness collaboratively, compassionately, and courageously – for all people. 

She spent the majority of her career at Cleveland Clinic, where she served in many varied operational and strategic roles, from the department to the enterprise level. In addition to budgetary and leadership responsibilities, Josette oversaw business standup, system integration, and goal harmonization at-scale. Her tenure at Cleveland Clinic also included an interlude as the Executive Administrator Officer at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where she helped define clarity in an ambiguous environment. Once back in Cleveland, Josette served as the Chief Strategy Officer where she conceived of, negotiated, and executed a variety of large deals within the context of a strategic framework she devised. 

Most recently, Josette was a Managing Director for PwC’s Provider Strategy team. In that role, she focused on provider growth strategy which included work in the digital healthcare space, including being a member of PwC’s Digital Value Creation cross-platform team, and working with PwC’s deal team. 

Josette lives on the west side of Cleveland with her husband, Rich, and two teenage daughters, Thea and Mylah. They enjoy traveling, and Rich coaches the sports that the girls play.
