I am the founding President of General Catalyst Institute, leveraging my decades of leadership experience as a visionary industry disruptor. I work to enact positive change for new and emerging technologies, focusing on accelerating global resilience in AI, cloud computing, defense, cyber, and mission intelligence. I serve as an international advisor and board member at the venture capital firm General Catalyst. I am also a veteran executive of large tech companies, including Amazon, where I founded and led Worldwide Public Sector and Industries, growing it into a multibillion-dollar business. I led the US Federal Business at Microsoft and returned as a Corporate Vice President and Executive in Residence. Additionally, I led large global organizations at Splunk and Flexport, where I served as President and Chief Growth Officer.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Commure and is a General Catalyst Advisor and Board Observer for Re:Build, Cobot, Mark43. I also serve as a Director at PagerDuty, a public company.
I dedicate time to philanthropic and leadership roles in the global community. I currently serve as the Vice Chair of the White House Historical Association, on the Executive Committee of The Atlantic Council, on the Board of Trustees at Meridian International Center, and as a Commissioner at the National Portrait Gallery.
